Password Protect Your Space

Without Password Protect enabled, anyone with a URL to your Portals space can enter at any time (assuming capacity hasn't been reached). This can be fine for a space you want to be open to the public. However, you may want added security for private events or sensitive materials on display. Password Protect can be enabled and disabled at any time.

To enable and setup Password Protect, do the following:

  • Turn the Password Protect switch on. When enabled, the switch will turn green.

Assign Wallet Admin Roles

By default, the owner of the Portals NFT will be able to enter and edit their space. Assigning an admin role allows an owner to grant editing permissions to another wallet address. This can be useful for teams to collaborate or give one of your burner wallets back up access in the event it's needed.

(Some users have assigned an admin role to a hot wallet while storing their Portals NFT on devices like a Ledger. This allows increased security while providing a back up in the event there are connection issues with Ledger.)

To assign the Admin Roles to another wallet address, do the following:

  • In the Assign Wallet Admin Roles section, Add a wallet address and create a nickname. (Pick a reference you'll remember later.). Click "Add +" when finished to apply and save changes.
